R&D
Sonen was awarded in the Contest XIII Innovative Business Projects at the University of Santiago de Compostela in 2008 in the category of Environmental Innovation Project through its innovative research work in the field of acoustics and telecommunications.
R&D Projects
We have several projects of R&D among which:
Preparation of the article “Numerical evaluation of the IL rails with elastic interlayer”, presented at the Euronoise 2009. (Edinburgh, 2009)
Verification of noise sources to measure air sound insulation. Development of a verification procedure according to sources with the characteristics required in the standards for measuring airborne sound insulation UNE-EN ISO 140, Part 4 and Part 5. Project developed with the support of the Chair Tecnopole.
Development tool for calculating SonenCTE insulation in buildings, based on CTE DB-HR, subsidized by the Department of Innovation and Industry with FEDER funds.
Creation of university spin-off company's R&D in numerical acoustics Sound of Numbers S.L.
Collaboration with the Sound of Numbers SL company and the University of Vigo in the development of SONarchitect CTE, the software tool automatic calculation of sound insulation as the DB-HR. www.sonarchitect.com
Preparation of the article "Uncertainty evaluation for airborne noise insulation acoustic measurements," presented at the 19th International Congress on Acoustics. (Madrid, 2007).
• Development of a methodology for mapping of noise.
• Preparation of the project "Proposal for a standard home automation technology applications to a single family dwelling to improve the safety and comfort".
• Development "Evaluation of measurement uncertainty in a situation of airborne noise insulation acoustic"
